2017 NFL Week 14 Fantasy Football Picks
Last week saw many players (including us) pony up for Drew Brees for their fantasy football lineups only to get slaughtered with his no TD and 3 INT line. Our DraftKings Fantasy Football Millionaire lineup got destroyed and I won’t even tell you how badly we finished in the Free Fantasy Football Contests that we entered. With 4 weeks to go in the NFL Fantasy Football season we look to shake off our bad week which is a blemish on what has been a pretty good run for us in the last several weeks.
If last week showed anything it’s that you need to start paying attention to weather reports as the elements can screw up a fantasy team especially the passing game. Snow in Lambeau and Soldier field caused fantasy players to start looking at dome stadiums in future contests.

FanDuel and DraftKings Fantasy Picks for this Week
QB – Quarterback Picks
Jameis Winston - DK $6,700 - FD $8,200 – In what could be a great shootout, the Bucs face the Saints. Brees will look to rebound from last week but is pretty average on the road. The Saints have a bad defense which means that Winston should be chucking all day.
Matthew Stafford - DK - $6,800 - FD $8,500 – Was one of our few great fantasy football picks last week and will now get to play at home against a weak Bears secondary. Look for the Lions to avenge their loss to the Bears in week 4.
Philip Rivers – DK $6,600 - FD $8,000 – With an O/U around 48.5 this game could actually go way over depending on which Caroline Panther team shows up. At a lower cost than most QB’s this week I like Rivers to score a bunch of fantasy points and bring good value in return.
RB – Running Back Picks
Jordan Howard - DK $6,400 - FD $7,800 - Howard is the workhorse for the Bears and had a huge day last week with 3 TD’s. The Lions defense is pretty solid but is susceptible to the dump off pass. Howard should still bring good value this week.
Matt Forte - DK - $6,800 - FD $7,700 – With Bryce Petty taking over at QB, Matt Forte could be a boom or bust play. Facing a bad 49ers team could see the Jets just try to run the ball all day but with a new QB the 49ers could just stack the line and dare the Jets to throw.
Jeremy Hill - DK $5,800 - FD $6,900 – 23 rushes for 33 yards last week…it doesn’t get much worse than that. I like Hill to get back on track against the Browns this week and as the main running back now for the Bengals I like him to have a big day.
WR – Wide Receiver Picks
Mike Evans - DK $8,900 - FD $8,900 – He is the most expensive wideout this week at both FanDuel and DraftKings but after a mediocre week last week and now facing the Saints…paired with Winston, Evans will be a popular stack play this week.
Golden Tate - DK $6,600 - FD $6,300 – Tate and Stafford hooked up nicely last week with Marvin Jones out. Facing the Bears at home could see a repeat of their big day again. If he is healthy you can look at Marvin Jones Jr. as well but that would be the contrarian play if you don’t want to ride on Tate again.
Doug Baldwin - DK $6,800 - FD $7,000 – Another snow day in Lambeau? Keep an eye on the weather as teams look to run the ball in the snow but wideouts have big plays on bad footing conditions. Baldwin will get touches against a bad Packers secondary.
TE – Tight End Picks
Jimmy Graham - DK $5,500 - FD $6,600 – Had a nice week last week and is still a great price playing against the Packers bad defense in what could be a shootout.
Greg Olsen - DK $5,000 - FD $6,400 – Olsen has had pretty weak numbers lately but he is still getting a lot of targets and it’s a matter of time before he has another big game. Playing against the Chargers could see that big game come in week 14!
Defense
Minnesota Vikings - DK $3,900 - FD $4,800 – If the Vikings are going to make the playoffs they need their defense from the beginning of the season to return. Playing the Jaguars this week could be the solution to their issues.
Detroit Lions - DK $3,600 - FD $4,600 – Although the Bears have been adequate with Matt Barkley at QB, the Lions defense has been pretty solid the last few weeks shutting down most teams including Drew Brees at home last week.
