2017 NFL Rookies Rankings - Top DraftKings and FanDuel Picks

Top 2017 Daily Fantasy Rookies for DFS

NFL LogoIn the early weeks of the NFL Fantasy Football season many top DFS players take advantage of soft pricing on NFL rookies and cash in. Many rookies start out under the radar and it takes a few weeks to see how often they get used and how many fantasy points they can score per week.

On the other hand you also get guys that are totally hyped up to begin the year and their cost is overblown. Last year was unique in that everyone was high on Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott and it turns out that the hype was warranted.

Will any of the top NFL Rookies ranked below be this year's Elliott?

2017 Top NFL Rookie Rankings for DFS Lineups

1. Leonard Fournette (RB - Jacksonville Jaguars)

Fournette will be at the top of everyone’s Top NFL Rookies for 2017 list this year. He will be given every chance to be the number 1 running back in Jacksonville although there are backups there in case he falters. Everyone is looking at him to be like Elliot was last year – temper your expectations, but he will be a great DFS play after a few weeks.

2. Christian McCaffrey (WR - Carolina Panthers)

Another high pick that many will have overvalued in the beginning of 2017. He will start as a backup to Stewart but given his injury history look for McCaffrey to be a great handcuff DFS pick on certain weeks.

3. Corey Davis (WR - Tennessee Titans )

Davis basically becomes the number 1 WR for the Titans in NFL week 1. He’s a huge upgrade over the current crop of receivers and will compete with Delanie Walker for catches but he should be a low cost option weekly at FantasyDraft or BoomFantasy along with your DK and FD lineups.

4. Joe Mixon (WR - Cincinnati Bengals)

It’s more a matter of when than if he will become the #1 RB in Cincinnati taking over for Hill and Bernard. He may be a low cost GPP play in certain weeks because when he does break out…his salary cap cost at our affiliate partner DraftKings will shoot right up!

5. Dalvin Cook (WR - Minnesota Vikings)

There are a lot of RB’s in Minnesota and he will need to compete with them to carve out a spot. On the bright side he steps into a team that was horrible at running the ball last year but in the offseason upgraded their offensive line which should benefit whoever ends up being the runner for the Vikings.
